What is a vehicle wrap?
Vehicle wraps are made from vinyl materials that conform to your vehicle's shape, similar to a large decal. They come in various forms: a full wrap covers your entire vehicle, while a partial wrap covers specific sections and incorporates your car's existing paint into the design. Wraps can be solid colors that serve as paint replacement, feature custom digitally printed designs to make your vehicle distinctive, or function as mobile advertising with your business information. How much does a wrap typically cost?
Pricing varies based on several factors, including the vinyl type and color, whether you choose solid or printed vinyl, your vehicle's size, and the complexity of its contours. Each vehicle presents unique characteristics, and some require removing trim pieces and bumpers to achieve a professional, show-quality finish. Most vehicle wraps require three to five days to complete and typically range from $2,500 to $5,000. The adhesive used in vehicle wrap materials is specifically designed to be removable and will not damage your car's original factory paint, provided the paint is in good condition. In fact, many vehicle owners discover that wraps help maintain their car's resale value by providing an additional layer of protection for the underlying paint. How long does a vehicle wrap last?
When professionally installed, vehicle wraps typically maintain their appearance without fading, cracking, or peeling for up to five years in most climates. For specific details about product longevity, please review the manufacturer's datasheet or contact us with any questions.Does it matter what color my car is?
Your car's original color doesn't affect the wrap application. Vehicle wrap vinyl is opaque rather than translucent, which means the underlying color won't show through. Can you wrap the roof?
The roof is typically included on most passenger cars. For vans, trucks, and SUVs, roofs are generally not wrapped unless specifically requested by the customer. It looks like there are graphics on the windows. Will I still be able to see through the windows?
Visibility remains unaffected. Window graphics are printed on perforated vinyl material, which allows drivers to see clearly through rear and side windows while maintaining the exterior appearance of the design. Can you wrap the front side windows?
State regulations prohibit applying wraps to the driver and passenger side windows, as well as the windshield. Can you wrap my hubcaps or rims?
Wheels are not included in vehicle wrap applications. Can you wrap a fiberglass or chrome bumper?
Vinyl wraps adhere well to painted plastic bumpers without issues. However, we don't recommend applying vinyl to fiberglass or chrome bumpers, as adhesion cannot be guaranteed for the wrap's expected lifespan.
